Free Admission to Cheekwood - April 29

As it finally, gradually begins to feel like spring, the folks at Cheekwood are also warming up a bit, opening their doors for free all day on April 29. Current exhibits at the historic site include the sculpture of Michael Baggarly in Reverberant Measures, a study of the omnipresence of video imagery in Lens with a Conscience, works by several Tennessean abstract painters, William Christenberry’s Passing Time and more. And as part of Wildflower Wednesdays—a monthlong celebration in honor of the 40th anniversary of the Howe Wildflower Garden—Cheekwood will be hosting guided tours of the garden complete with a history lesson on how Cora Howe cultivated her acclaimed garden.
